Anyway, this register hack works for my Sidewinder Wheel on Windows 10 64-bit. Ableton drum buss download. I have tested: Richard Burns Colin McRae Rally 3 Colin McRae Rally 04 Colin McRae Rally 2005 All of them 100% successful. Great job everyone. I have the SideWinder Force Feedback precision racing wheel (red grips) and Windows 10 64 bit, and it is installing as the generic 'HID-compliant game controller' and it is putting the brake pedal on the Z axis all by itself, with the throttle pedal on +y axis.
Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro Joystick Driver Windows 10
Hello, I just want to ask if vJoy could help in this. This wheel is working in W10 flawlessly (even with FFB) but some game (Richard Burns Rally) can't recognize it as MS SideWinder wheel. It recognizes this wheel as standard HID and I think this is the reason that FFB does not work in this game (to be specific - it recognize presence of FFB so it activates FFB on the wheel when launching the game and it is even possible to toggle autocentering function in the game settings but it cannot spin the wheel, use effects etc). In virtualized Windows XP the game displays MS wheel image in settings as a proof it recognizes the wheel model and FFB works properly. Values in registry are the same (VID_045E&PID_0034) in XP and W10, the only difference here is CLSID value in OEMForceFeedback. The main difference is the actual device driver which is different on each system, in XP I can see Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback wheel in Device Manager but on W10 there is USB Input device. I can provide more details in this if needed. My question is - do you think that if I compile your project (I am sure I can learn to do that as I am a programmer) with the same VID & PID I could help the game to recognize it correctly as in WinXP? Or do you have some other tips what could help?
